Each base station can handle up
to 8 simultaneous calls. The coverage
area of each base station is called
a cell. The maximum range of a handset
is 300 metres but typically in normal
business conditions is 50 metres.
A site survey is required to provide
an analysis of actual coverage as
local site conditions may requires
special placement of base stations.
The DXE is both GAP and CAP compliant
allowing handsets to roam between
cells, with the handover of calls
when users leave one cell for
another.
Two
fully featured DXE DECT handsets
are available.
