The DSS Console gives a 24 key telephone
an additional 100 programmable keys.
These 100 DSS keys provide a Busy
Lamp Field (BLF) and one-touch access
to extensions and exchange line
numbers. 
The DSS also has 10 fixed feature
keys for Paging, calling Doorphones,
activating Night Service and enabling
DSS Console Alternate Answer.
Two additional keys allow "shifting"
between the first page and second
page. The first page is assigned
for the 1st 100 DSS keys (1-100)
with Busy Lamp Field (BLF), and
the second page is assigned for
the 2nd 100 DSS keys (101-200)
with BLF as well. In total the
status of 200 extensions can be
shown at a console.
