In line with NEC Infrontia's policy
of future proofing its products
existing DXE328 can be expanded
and enhanced with DXE600 modules
to provide the same level of functionality.
With the launch of the DXE600,
the largest hybrid communication
system in the world NEC Infrontia
brings to the larger user a range
of key system features that in
the past could only be introduced
by bolting a key system onto the
back of a larger PABX. We
now have removed the PABX/keysystem
distinction for the larger user.
Traditional key system features
such as paging. multiple line
appearance, on-hook voice announce
can now be offered to the larger
user. The smaller business which
is expanding also can retain the
flexibility of key system working
when they outgrow the traditional
sized key system.
Keysystem working is traditionally
associated with low tech, stand
alone basic telephone systems.
The DXE range is none of those
things. A powerful system architecture
coupled with enterprise level
functionality has made NEC Infrontia
systems worldwide the first choice
for many telecom carriers. The
DXE600 carries on that tradition.
The DXE600 is a Telephony Server
which can provide telephony functionality
to other LAN users. An Ethernet
card and new system software provides
the basis for client/server telephony
based on robust and resilient
telephony operating systems.
Third Party CTI based on Microsoft
TAPI 2.1 provides the foundation
for integrated client server Computer
Telephony Integration. Other NEC
Infrontia Telephony Server working
within NEC Infrontia's DXE LAN
architecture include Unified Messaging
and Call Centre Management Systems.
